Overview
The SUNMAX RT70 is a compact ride-on commercial floor scrubber for larger warehouses, retail spaces, schools and other facilities with long cleaning routes. Seated operation helps reduce walking workload while the 22-inch brush and 31.5-inch squeegee handle scrubbing and water recovery.
Why choose this model?
- Ride-on operation is useful for long, repetitive cleaning routes.
- Equal 18.5-gallon solution and recovery tanks provide more capacity than the RT50 family.
- A 22-inch cleaning path offers a more compact ride-on option than a 34-inch machine.
- Accessible tanks and an operator control panel support routine operation and maintenance.
Controls and practical features
Emergency braking and a reverse alert support operation in busy facilities. SUNMAX lists a 6.5-foot turning diameter, so check turning space as well as the full squeegee width before choosing this ride-on model.

Buying Guide
Will it fit my cleaning route?
This model suits regular commercial hard-floor routes. Check doorway and aisle clearance, storage space and the location of fresh-water and wastewater facilities. For longer routes, drive assistance or a ride-on machine may be worth comparing.
Which power configuration am I buying?
This listing is the standard battery configuration shown in the specifications. Plan a complete charging window between routes and follow the battery-care instructions. Actual runtime varies with the workload and battery condition.
Which floors can it clean?
For approved hard floors such as sealed concrete, tile, epoxy and vinyl. Check the floor manufacturer’s maintenance instructions and choose a compatible brush or pad and detergent. Water-sensitive wood, laminate, coatings and polished finishes need particular care. This machine is not a carpet extractor.
Ask CleanGearHQ for help choosing a model. Share your floor type, usable cleaning area, narrowest aisle or doorway and charging or outlet access so we can help check the fit.
Compare before choosing
Compare the SUNMAX RT70+ for faster lithium recharging and the SUNMAX SM860 for a wider ride-on cleaning path.
Support
Operation and routine care
- Use a floor-compatible, low-foaming cleaning solution and follow its dilution instructions.
- Drain and rinse the recovery tank after use, and inspect the brush, squeegee and suction path for debris.
- Check brushes, pads and squeegee blades regularly; these are maintenance items that wear with use.
- Follow the battery and charger instructions before first use, between shifts and during storage.
Download the manufacturer’s RT70 operation and maintenance manual.
Before first use
SUNMAX says small amounts of test water or green transit-protection fluid may remain after factory testing. Follow the operating instructions for the initial rinse and setup.
Replacement parts
For replacement-part help, provide CleanGearHQ with your model, order number and photos of the part. Confirm brush, pad and squeegee compatibility before ordering; availability varies.
Warranty support
SUNMAX publishes a two-year limited manufacturer warranty for eligible defects in non-wearable parts under normal use and maintenance. Brushes, pads and squeegees are consumables rather than covered wear items. Keep proof of purchase; manufacturer eligibility, exclusions and claim assessment apply.
