Makinex Dual Pressure Cleaners: 2200 vs. 2500 vs. 4000 PSI
Makinex’s dual-pressure machines combine a rotary surface cleaner for open flatwork with a pressure-washer wand for edges and more targeted work. The three models currently listed at CleanGearHQ differ in deck width, pressure range, water flow, hose reach and weight. Use the comparison below to decide which details matter for your jobs; confirm surface compatibility and water supply before ordering.

Where each model fits
DPC 2200: The smallest and lightest of the three. Its 18-inch rotary deck and telescopic handle make it worth considering when transport and storage are important. The listed pressure is fixed, so check that 2,200 PSI is suitable for the surfaces you plan to clean.
DPW 2500: A middle option with a 21-inch deck, adjustable pressure and the longest listed hose at 50 feet. Its Vanguard-powered U.S. configuration may suit contractors who want more flatwork coverage than the DPC 2200 without stepping up to the largest unit.
DPW 4000: The widest deck and highest listed flow and pressure range. The 24-inch surface cleaner, 4.0 GPM output and Honda GX390 engine suit demanding exterior-cleaning jobs, provided the site has the water supply, room and transport capacity this larger machine requires.
Check the jobsite before choosing
- Surface: Test an inconspicuous area and follow the surface manufacturer’s pressure recommendations. High pressure can damage unsuitable materials.
- Water: Verify the site can supply the flow required by the specific model; never run the pump without water.
- Access: Compare the deck width, hose reach, folded dimensions and machine weight with gates, stairs, vehicles and storage.
- Delivery: These machines ship by freight. Check whether your address needs liftgate, residential or limited-access service under the shipping terms.
All three are gasoline-powered. Read the operator’s manual and use them only in a properly ventilated outdoor area. Browse pressure washers or contact CleanGearHQ with the surfaces, area and jobsite details you need to cover.
