The Beatbot AquaSense 2 Ultra combines floor, wall and waterline scrubbing with water-surface cleaning. It is a useful option to compare if your pool collects debris at multiple levels and you want more than an underwater-only pool vacuum.

HybridSense navigation combines camera, infrared and ultrasonic sensing to support pool mapping and cleaning routes. The robot also parks above the water for retrieval, with SmartDrain water release to reduce the water carried as you lift it out.

What Makes the Ultra Different?

Surface-cleaning brushes and app steering help target floating debris while the robot is at the surface. Underwater navigation is handled by the cleaner rather than live directional steering. ClearWater clarification is another supported function, but requires a separately purchased clarifying-agent kit; it does not replace sanitizing or balancing your pool. Choose the standalone cleaner or a named skimmer bundle below—only the selected bundle adds an iSkim or iSkim Ultra.

Suitable for above-ground and in-ground pools in supported concrete, vinyl, fiberglass and tile finishes; saltwater must stay below 5,000 ppm. Select the standalone cleaner or the listed iSkim/iSkim Ultra package. A skimmer is included only when that bundle variant is selected. Clarifying agents are sold separately; app steering does not work underwater.

Can it clean a shallow sun shelf?
Beatbot specifies at least 13.7 inches (35 cm) of water for platform cleaning. Do not apply the Sora series’ 8-inch rating to this model.

What does the selected package include?
The standalone option is the AquaSense 2 Ultra cleaner system. An iSkim or iSkim Ultra is added only by its named bundle option. The optional clarifying-agent kit is separate.

Does the maximum runtime apply to every mode?
No. Surface-only and floor-only figures are separate maximums, not a guaranteed combined cycle. Pool geometry, debris and settings affect results.

How should I care for it?
Empty and rinse the basket, inspect brushes and sensors, and follow Beatbot’s charging, storage and water-chemistry instructions. Robotic cleaning does not replace pool filtration or chemical balancing.

Eligible unused returns have a 30-day window under our store return policy. For approved non-defective returns, the customer pays return shipping and a 25% restocking fee.
